Sherry Evans ("The Controller"), Office Administrator
Sherry has worked for the firm for a whopping 30 years. She knows the firm inside out and upside down, if you want it, chances are she has it or knows where to get it. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Sherry decided at a young age she would like life better at a higher elevation, which brought her to the Mile High City of Denver, Colorado. Sherry is not the regular boring office administrator, she spent many years
stock car racing whenever she got the chance and if rumor is true she was the bad girl bully at school, you know the kind, leather jacket with a switchblade in the pocket. Nowadays,
Sherry wins over our hearts with her cooking (nothing beats her cinnamon
rolls). Sherry loves animals, especially her Labrador retriever Shelby, who takes Sherry on walks around the park nightly.

Erica
L. Nousi, B.S., Paralegal
Erica is the firm’s paralegal, and the wit of the office; her colorful
use of metaphors is a constant source of entertainment. A native of
Wyoming, Erica views the mile-high city as a pleasant drop in altitude.
A graduate of Utah State University with a B.S. in Sociology, she has an
eclectic background in legal areas. She served as a Drug and Alcohol
Counselor while attending Utah State, and was a Detentions Counselor for
the Jefferson County Jail. Erica also worked in Technical Support for
MSA Fall Protection. These collective experiences aided her pursuit of a
law career, and in March, 2006, she graduated from the Denver Career
College, formerly the Denver Paralegal Institute, with her paralegal
certification. She subsequently worked as a paralegal in criminal law.
An avid reader and researcher, Erica is a published writer, and as a
musician with the Denver South Suburban Orchestra, she played the French
horn and served as president. Currently, she teaches confirmation
classes and Sunday school at her church. A dedicated football and hockey
fan, Erica regularly cheers for the Colorado Avalanche and the
Pittsburgh Steelers. She also loves animals, as her Chow / Shepherd mix
dog, Rosie, and her finches, Talia and Trudy can
attest. Rosie even attends Doggie Day Care.
